The landfill takes in fractions for intermediate disposal. Intermediate disposal stores the waste for subsequent environmental treatment. These wastes include combustible waste (for treatment at the Incineration waste-to-energy Facility), impregnated wood and PVC waste for recycling.
Each waste fraction is kept separately in a special cell so it is easy to locate and treat whenever needed.
