Sub-consultants to COWI consulting engineers and planners in a project for the newly established Solid Waste Management Department of Beni Suef City in Egypt

• Support to the director and the managers in the daily management of the Beni Suef Solid Waste Management Organsation
• Development/improvement of monitoring indicators for solid waste management as well as management tools to be used for data collection and registration, quality control, monitoring etc.
• Support in the planning and implementation of a proposed new waste collection and source separation system and in improvements of the existing street cleaning, waste collection, sorting, composting and landfill operation activities including assistance in training of the staff
• Support in development of proper service and maintenance procedures for collection trucks and other solid waste management equipment including improvement of the operation of an existing garage and small workshop
